“Back to the Future” turns 40 and goes on display in Milan

Scheduled until next July 27th at Villa Beretta Magnaghi in Marcallo con Casone , on the outskirts of Milan , 'Back in time - The exhibition' stages the most important collection of memorabilia dedicated to the saga of 'Back to the Future' . On display are over 100 original props from the collections of the 'Back to the future museum' , all certified by Universal Studios . The over 2,000 square meters of surface also houses the replica of the legendary 'DeLorean Dmc-12 time machine' .
The exhibition begins with the radiation suit worn by the protagonist in the first film of the trilogy, along with his inseparable Walkman and the original clothes worn by his parents. This is followed by authentic copies of the 1955 Hill Valley Telegraph and the plans for the Clock Tower . Also on display are the complete storyboard of the alternative ending, the plutonium charge of the DeLorean and the original production documents.
From the set of the second episode, instead, come Marty McFly 's floating scooters without wheels and a selection of 'product placements' such as a Pizza Hut box, the Pepsi of the future and the self-lacing Nike sneakers. The decorations of the high school gym recreate the atmosphere of the school dance scene where George McFly and Lorraine Baines meet. Among Doc's cult objects are Ez-sleep, the device for instant sleep, and the walkie-talkie with which he communicates with Marty.
From the last film of 1990 we find the copy of the Hill Valley Telegraph dated September 4, 1885, the cast's production megaphone and the western-style outfit worn by Michael J. Fox consisting of a shirt, hat and belt. There is also an area dedicated to the backstage with documentaries and photographs taken directly from the set.
Also on display are copies of the 1946 Ford driven by Biff Tannen , the Libyan terrorists' Volkswagen T2 Bus and Marty Mc Fly's Toyota Hilux SR5. During the visit, 'professional photo sets' allow visitors to take souvenir photos with a car of their choice. Also available to the public is a 'book shop', a 'Lou's Cafe 50s' themed café and a refreshment area located inside the park of the eighteenth-century villa. Free screenings of documentaries and themed content are scheduled for the weekends.
Organized by Infinity Events in collaboration with 'Ritorno al futuro Italia Aps' , the exhibition supports Team Fox, a non-profit organization for Parkinson's research founded by Michael J. Fox , to which part of the proceeds from ticket sales will go.
